    On View | FRESH PAINT: Emmi Whitehorse

    For this iteration of the collaborative FRESH PAINT exhibition series, the Parrish Art Museum and The FLAG Art Foundation are pleased to present work by artist Emmi Whitehorse (Diné). For her FRESH PAINT presentation, Whitehorse has created a new diptych painting, titled Reseeding Chaco (2026), exhibited for the first time at the Parrish.

    On View | Dennis Oppenheim: Wishing the Mountains Madness 1977 / 2026

    Dennis Oppenheim first executed Wishing the Mountains Madness in 1977 as part of a visiting artist workshop at the University of Montana. Installed in the Lobby, the documentation accompanies the restaging of Oppenheim’s original project in the Parrish’s Meadow.

    On View | Sanford Biggers: Drift

    As part of our year-long series PARRISH USA250: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, Sanford Biggers: Drift presents the acclaimed artist’s first major solo museum exhibition on the East End of Long Island, featuring new textile works, prints, sculptures and site-responsive installations.

    On View | Will Ryman: Shanghai 6

    Shanghai 6 is Will Ryman’s first presentation at the Parrish Art Museum, installed in the Museum’s south meadow. First presented in 2011, through New York City’s Department of Parks and Recreation, the colossal, painted fiberglass, resin, and stainless steel flowers from the on-going Rose series that the artist began fifteen years ago have since been on view on the grounds of museums and private collections across America and abroad.

    To kick off a new partnership with The FLAG Art Foundation, the Parrish presents the survey exhibition Ellsworth Kelly: Eight Decades, featuring key examples of the minimalist approach Kelly developed in his mature work alongside the artist’s early paintings, plant drawings, and photographs taken while he was on the East End of Long Island.
