A Message from the Director

It was a difficult but necessary decision to temporarily close the doors that have welcomed the entire community to the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill for nearly eight years. Our primary goal now is to continue to provide you—our loyal friends and family—with access to the best of what the Parrish can offer through digital means, and to provide a safe environment for the master works of art we hold in trust for you, our community. The Parrish is still your Museum.

We firmly believe that the arts provide the opportunities for inspiration, contemplation, and connection that feed our souls and raise our spirits. In challenging times, the arts are even more important. We have been proud and privileged to provide so many ways for the community, as well as visitors from around the world, to have first-hand experiences with art and artists though exhibitions, programs, workshops, and classes for all ages. We look forward to the time when we may all once again come together to share these experiences in person.
