Salon Series, the Parrish Art Museum’s classical music program featuring world-class artists, concludes for the fall with a solo performance by Chinese pianist Wynona Wang.

About Wynona Wang

Born in Beijing, Wang is an active performer in China, Europe, and the United States. Recent North American performances include the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, the Meadows Symphony Orchestra of SMU Dallas, and major festivals including PianoTexas, Morningside Music Bridge in Calgary, Canada, the International Keyboard Institute & Festival in New York City, and the Chautauqua Institution.

Wang has also garnered top honors at numerous competitions including the Meadows Concerto Competition at SMU, the Artist Recognition Scholarship Awards Competition at NYC’s International Keyboard Institute & Festival, the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy Competition in Japan, and the IX International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Ukraine, among other important venues worldwide.

Recently awarded the Performer’s diploma under the tutelage of the eminent pianist Alessio Bax at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Wang currently lives in New York and is pursuing an undergraduate degree at The Juilliard School as a student of Dr. Robert McDonald.

Advance ticket purchase with pre-event registration is recommended. Limited tickets will be available at the door. All sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Mask-wearing is not required but recommended when not eating or drinking.
