Benefit Committee Cocktail Reception | Saturday, September 11, 5:30–7:30pm
On Saturday evening, September 11, Landscape Pleasures ticket purchasers at the Sponsor level and above will be invited for cocktails at Fairwind, the exquisite Southampton Village garden of Audrey and Martin Gruss. Designed by Edwina von Gal and managed as PRFCT, Fairwind is an homage to the elegant estates of Southampton’s past. Mature specimen trees, charming outbuildings, cutting garden, orchard, and successions of garden rooms all feel as if they have been there a good long time. The excellent collection of outdoor contemporary sculpture adds a lively touch of today.
Symposium and Book Signing | Sunday, September 12, 9–11:30am (Doors open 8:30am for a light breakfast)
Featuring talks by premier landscape professionals including award-winning horticulturist, landscape designer, photographer, and lecturer, Patrick Cullina, and renowned landscape designer, Deborah Nevins.
Following the talks will be a book signing by Chris LaGuardia of his new book Contemporary Gardens of the Hamptons: LaGuardia Design Group 1990-2020.
