Community Day: Savor the Summer

All-Day Free Admission & Activities Plus Food Trucks & Artisan Market

Join us as we celebrate art, artists, and food! Adults, children, and families can experience everything the Parrish Art Museum offers. Enjoy free admission all day alongside free activities including artist-led activities and workshops for all ages, tours of exhibitions on view including Sanford Biggers: Drift with the artist, and an artisan market featuring local vendors. Stop by the Museum Shop, plus, enjoy delicious food and beverages from local food trucks and the Parrish Café. Stay for an evening of music as we kick off Summer Jazz on the Terrace!

Free and open to all. No registration is required.

All visitors enjoy free admission to the Museum’s galleries, Creativity Lounge, Museum Shop, and Parrish Café! While you’re in our lobby, try out our Mini Print Vending Machine! Brought to us by Inciardi Prints, the Mini Print Vending Machine dispenses a surprise print for just $1 (in quarters). An exclusive Parrish Art Museum print is now available!

Art Activities & Workshops | 11 AM–4 PM | The Creativity Lounge, Classroom, Galleries, Meadow, & Terrace
Join us throughout the Museum for various art activities and workshops!

11 AM–2 PM | Guided Workshop by The Shine Studio
11 AM–4 PM | Weaving Workshop with Regeneration artist Cindy Pease Roe
12–1:30 PM | Community Installation of Dennis Oppenheim: Wishing the Mountains Madness 1977 / 2026 – As part of PARRISH USA250 and in commemoration of Flag Day, participants will freely place sculptures that reference the current fifty-star flag across the Museum’s Meadow. Participation begins at 12 PM and is first come, first serve, upon signing up at the Visitor Experience desk. Learn more.

Artisan Market | 11 AM–4 PM | The Lichtenstein Theater
Support local businesses! Whether you’re interested in jewelry, apparel, ceramics, candles, crafts, or books, there’s something for everyone! List of vendors coming soon.

Food Trucks | 11 AM–6 PM | The Mildred C. Brinn Terrace & Parrish Café
Enjoy LUNCH Lobster Roll, Ozzie’s Ice Cream (3–6 PM), plus more from the Parrish Café.

Book Signing | 1 PM–2 PM | Lobby
Author and artist Jill Moser will be on site to sign her publication Talking Pictures: Collaborations, available for purchase in the Museum Shop.

Artist-Led & Curator-Led Tours | 2–3:30 PM | Galleries
Join us for gallery tours, beginning with a special tour led by exhibiting artist Sanford Biggers. Learn more about our exhibitions on view here.

Cool off after the day’s festivities with an evening of music in collaboration with Hamptons JazzFest. Pianist and composer Bill O’Connell brings his dynamic Latin Jazz Express to the Parrish Art Museum for the official kickoff of Hamptons JazzFest, joined by Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Randy Brecker.
