Jazz en Plein Air: Eliot Zigmund

Join us the last Friday of every month from May through August for the return of Jazz en Plein Air, featuring many talented musicians selected by the East End's legendary Richie Siegler, jazz musician and founding director of Escola de Samba BOOM. The café will serve $6 jazzy libations, so come socialize, soak in the scenery, and have a glass of wine, while enjoying the cool tunes.

Eliot Zigmund kicks off the summer of jazz at the Parrish. Zigmund has been featured at top New York jazz clubs for decades and praised for his "feather touch response" (Jazziz) and "fluid, relaxed urgency" (Musician).

Renowned among jazz enthusiasts as the drummer who backed up innovators like Chet Baker, Bill Evans, and Stan Getz, Zigmund kicks off the Parrish's Jazz en Plein Air outdoor music series, with Ed MacEachen on guitar and Mike Eckroth at the organ.

Don't miss this legendary jazz drummer at his first gig at the Parrish!
