This Fall the Parrish launches the Salon Series, concerts by award-winning young musicians from around the globe. Six Fridays of concerts designed to excite and introduce Classical repertoire have been co-programmed with Concert Artists Guild and Pro Musicis, two organizations that nurture and promote the world's finest concert musicians. Each performance runs approximately 60 to 75 minutes.
The New York Times declared Michael Brown, “a young piano visionary,” praising him for his “powerful technique and a vivid imagination.” An equally committed pianist and composer, Brown’s unique artistry often involves interweaving of classics with contemporary works and his own compositions. He has appeared on four continents and performed at Alice Tullly Hall, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
