Winter Welcome Day & Holiday Market

All-Day Free Admission & Activities Plus Food Trucks & Artisan Market

December 6, 11 am - 5 pm

Join us for festive family fun! Adults, children, and families can experience everything the Parrish Art Museum offers. Enjoy free admission all day alongside free activities including art workshops for all ages, curator-led tours of exhibitions on view, and a book signing with East End artists. Shop ’til you drop at our holiday market—featuring over 20 vendors of jewelry, ceramics, apparel, gifts, and more—as well as the Museum Shop! Plus, enjoy delicious food and beverages from local food trucks and the Parrish Café.

Free and open to all. No registration is required.

Start your day off at the Parrish with a joyful performance by the Bridgehampton Marimba Group!

Art Activities & Workshops | 11 AM–4 PM | The Creativity Lounge, Classroom, & Galleries
Join us throughout the Museum for various art activities and workshops, including guided artmaking with Education Programs Manager Nathan Malak and Imagination Play Project—building with open-ended materials as well as natural objects—with Play Curator Linda White in the Creativity Lounge, clothespin doll making with Art Educator Erin O’Connor in the classroom, and self-guided activities in the galleries!

Food Trucks | 11 AM–4 PM | The Event Lawn & Terrace
Enjoy delicious food from Balo’s, Coconut Island Grill & Bar, and The Shinnecock Lobster Company!

Holiday Market | 11 AM–4 PM | The Lichtenstein Theater

Book Signing | 3–4 PM | Galleries
East End artists will be on site to sign Light, Sand, and Sea: Hamptons Artists and Their Studios and Artists Choose Parrish, both available for purchase in the Museum Shop. Artists and contributors will include Marina Adams, Alice Aycock, Mary Boochever, Nanette Carter, Darlene Charneco, Eva Faye, Paton Miller, Candace Hill Montgomery, Jill Moser, Coco Myers, Alix Pearlstein, Enoc Perez, Joel Perlman, Dan Rizzie, Randall Rosenthal, Matthew Satz, Kevin Teare, John Torreano, Susan Vecsey, Nina Yankowitz, and more.

Also, in conjunction with the Parrish’s exhibition, join us as we celebrate the launch of the newly published catalog Endless Limits: The Work of James Howell, 1962–2014, which includes texts by Associate Curators Kaitlin Halloran and Scout Hutchinson, art historian Jason Rosenfeld, Ph.D., and artist Hiroshi Sugimoto. Halloran, Hutchinson, and Rosenfeld will be on site to sign the catalog, also available for purchase in the Museum Shop.
