Annual Vote to Support the Parrish Art Museum
June 1, 2019, 10 am - 5 pm
Thank you for supporting the Museum’s education and enrichment programs throughout the year.
As a qualified voter of the Southampton Union Free School District, please show your support for the Parrish Art Museum and vote in the annual election to approve funding for the Museum.
PROPOSITION NO. 1: Resolved that the Board of Education shall be authorized to appropriate funds in the amount of Three Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Eight ($367,278) Dollars for program expenses of the Parrish Art Museum during the 2019-2020 school year; which sum is to be raised by a levy of a tax upon the taxable real property within the Southampton Union Free School District’s boundaries.

You can also vote by absentee ballot. Applications are available at Southampton Union Free School District, 425 County Road 39A and must be received by the Office of the District Clerk no later than 3 pm on Friday, May 31. See more information below.
By showing your support you help the Museum:
PROVIDE year-round free admission for students, children under age 18, and residents and employees of the Southampton Union Free School District, as well as discounted admission for seniors
PARTNER with local teachers, health and social care groups to create one-of-a-kind, stimulating, and hands-on arts programs offsite and at the Museum
PRODUCE world-class exhibitions, scholarly research, and hundreds of public tours, concerts, talks, and film screenings
A public information meeting regarding the vote will be held at the Museum on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10 am to 11 pm.

How to Vote Absentee in the June 1, 2019 appropriation for the Parrish Art Museum:
- Applications for Absentee Ballots are available in person, via mail or email at the Office of the District Clerk of the Southampton Union Free School District, 425 County Road 39A , Southampton, New York 11968, during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Telephone: 631-591-4510 Email: clerk@southamptonschools.org
- In order for your Absentee Ballot to be counted, Absentee Ballots must be returned to the District Clerk, in person at 425 County Road 39A , Southampton or mailed to Southampton Union Free School District, 70 Leland Rd, Southampton, NY 11968 no later than 3:00 pm on May 31, 2019.

The Resident Benefit Membership is a free three-year Membership granting the same benefits as the Individual level Membership. It is designed as a gesture of appreciation to the residents and district employees of Southampton and Tuckahoe School Districts, as these districts participate in a tax levy supporting the mission and work of the Parrish Art Museum.
