Tour | James Brooks: A Painting Is a Real Thing

Members of the Museum at the Patron level and above are invited to a private gallery tour of James Brooks: A Painting Is a Real Thing, led by Adjunct Curator of the Collection, Klaus Ottmann, on August 25. Guests will view the comprehensive survey comprised of over 100 paintings, prints, and works on paper drawn from public and private U.S. collections.

Note: The tour takes place before that evening’s panel discussion in the Lichtenstein Theater starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets for the discussion are required and can be purchased in advance here.

James Brooks: A Painting Is a Real Thing is organized by Klaus Ottmann, Ph.D., Adjunct Curator of the Collection, with support from Assistant Curator and Publications Coordinator Kaitlin Halloran and will be on view through October 15, 2023.
