Field of Dreams Walking Tour: Alicia Longwell, Parrish Docents
January 22, 2021, 3 pm - 4:30 pm
Join Alicia G. Longwell, Ph.D., The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Chief Curator and Parrish docents, in a socially distanced walking tour through the Field of Dreams and meet the 2020 Parrish Road Show artist Scott Bluedorn, who will be onsite to give tours of his work. Space is limited, advance registration required. Masks are required to be worn throughout the tour.
Longwell and Parrish docents will guide guests through the inaugural sculpture exhibition that features a new installation created for the Museum by interdisciplinary artist Theaster Gates, a suite of four new sculptures by Jaume Plensa, and new works by Parrish collection artist Jim Dine. In addition, participants will get the opportunity to meet and chat with Scott Bluedorn, who created the Bonac Blind, a floating, mostly handmade dwelling constructed from a repurposed duck blind structure that is now on view in the Entry Meadow. This event is rain, snow, or shine.
Friday Nights are made possible, in part, by Presenting Sponsor:
Additional support provided by Sandy and Stephen Perlbinder.
Special thanks to
