About the Jazz on the Terrace Performance
Morris Goldberg SafroJazz, 6-7:30 pm
Morris Goldberg was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He came to New York to study at the Manhattan School of Music, where he received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Goldberg has worked and toured with Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, and Harry Belafonte, among many others. He also recorded for Paul Simon on the Graceland album, playing soprano sax, and the pennywhistle solo on “You Can Call Me Al”.
