September 14, 2 pm - 4 pm

 REGISTER

For the 2024 Parrish Road Show, the Parrish Art Museum has invited Andrea Cote to create a site-specific exhibition at Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton. Now in its thirteenth year, Parrish Road Show is the Museum’s off-site project designed to encourage engagement and interaction between artists and the communities beyond the Museum’s walls. To Belong to the World will be an outdoor installation composed of uniquely printed fabric and bamboo structures that complement and highlight the Garden’s landscape. The work continues Cote’s exploration of her connection with the environment through daily exposed cyanotypes reflecting the sun, cosmos, and body.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2 PM at Bridge Gardens. Andrea Cote, along with Parrish Assistant Curators Kaitlin Halloran and Brianna L. Hernández will introduce the exhibition with brief remarks. Light refreshments will be served.
