SOUTHAMPTON SCHOOL DISTRICT: PLEASE VOTE “YES” ON PROPOSITION 6
TUCKAHOE SCHOOL DISTRICT: PLEASE VOTE “YES” ON PROPOSITION 5

By showing your support you help the Museum:

PROVIDE year-round free admission for students, children under age 18, and residents and employees of the Southampton Union Free and Tuckahoe Common School Districts, as well as discounted admission for seniors.

PARTNER with local teachers, health and social care groups to create one-of-a-kind, stimulating, and hands-on arts programs offsite and at the Museum.

PRODUCE world-class exhibitions, scholarly research, and hundreds of public tours, concerts, talks, and film screenings.

For the 2021-2022 school year in Southampton, based on the tax rate, a homeowner will pay approximately $1.35 towards the appropriation for the Museum for every $100,000 of assessed value—or $6.75 for the year for a home assessed at $500,000. For Tuckahoe, homeowners pay about 37 cents per $100,000, or $1.66 for the year for a home assessed at $500,000. Funds from the tax levy have no impact at all on the funding of the school budgets.

A public information meeting from May 4 is available on the Southampton School District Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Southampton.School.District.Information/. A public information meeting will be held at Tuckahoe Common School, 468 Magee Street, Southampton on May 10 at 6:30 pm.
