The Hamptons Get Mortified, Volume 3

Hailed a "cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek and celebrated by This American Life, The Today Show, The Onion AV Club, Entertainment Weekly and beyond, Mortified is a comic excavation of the strange and extraordinary things we created as kids.

Witness adults sharing their most embarrassing childhood artifacts (journals, letters, poems, lyrics, plays, home movies, art) with others, in order to reveal stories about their lives. Hear grown men and women confront their past with tales of their first kiss, first puff, worst prom, fights with mom, life at bible camp, best mall job, and reasons they deserved to marry Jon Bon Jovi.

The Parrish Art Museum will co-present this third edition with Mortified NYC, and the evening, hosted by John Dorcic, will include hilariously embarrassing and awkwardly heart-wrenching readings by New York City and East End personalities, to be announced. The Hamptons’ own DJ Twilo will be spinning classic tunes throughout the evening to enhance the vintage vibe.

Recommended for ages 18 and up.
