Local Wine Tasting and Conversation

James Christopher Tracy at Channing Daughters Winery, Kontokosta Winery wines and tasting room, and Alie Shaper at Brooklyn Oenology

Turning grapes and water into wine is an art. Join us for an innovative take on an age-old craft at a special wine tasting with the winemakers themselves! Guest speakers will give enlightening presentations on their creative process, and attendees will be able to sample their local varieties of wine, and interact with the artists who created them prior to the conversation, in the cafe.

Organized in conjunction with Edible East End and moderated by editor, Brian Halweil, the winemakers include James Christoper Tracy of Channing Daughters Winery, Michael Kontokosta of Kontokosta Winery, and Alie Shaper of Brooklyn Oenology.

Channing Daughters Winery will sample:

2014 Rosso Fresco

2014 Rosato Di Sculpture Garden

2013 Meditazione

2015 Bianco Petillant Naturel

Kontokosta Winery will sample:
