The conversation prompts listeners to consider what they might ask Cristina Kahlo-Alcala\, the grand-niece of Frida Kahlo\, who will join live via Zoom. Kahlo-Alcal offers a deeper dive into the prominent Mexican artist’s life\, medical history\, work\, and how she connects to her late great-aunt through her own artistic practice. They will also be joined by Dr. Robert Maki\, Professor of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center / Weill Cornell Medical College in New York and an adjunct professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an internationally recognized leader in cancer research\, and has particular interest in sarcomas\, cancers of bone and soft tissue\, which impact patients of all ages from infancy to elderly populations and has been the principal investigator of multiple clinical and translational studies in sarcoma. \nSubmit your questions or thoughts about the exhibition by emailing Public Programs Manager Olivia Menghini at menghinio@parrishart.org or tagging us @parrishartmuseum on Instagram and Twitter.
