Please use the links below to register for this special live-stream performance.\nSoukhovetski’s Music Program: \nFranz Schubert (1797–1828)\nSonata in B-flat D. 960 \nPolina Nazaykinskaya (b. 1987)\nAnticipation\, Summer Rain\, and Remembrance \nRichard Strauss (1864–1949) and Konstantin Soukhovetski \nTrio from Der Rosenkavalier (premiere) \n  \n“Konstantin Soukhovetski is rapidly earning a reputation as a “young pianist who captivates” with his “distinctive lyricism”\, “immaculate technique” and “vigor…refinement… and drama”— The New York Times \n2019 Innovation Award Winner from Music Academy Of The West\, Konstantin Soukhovetski has a uniquely diverse artistic voice that reaches out to both classical and popular audiences. Konstantin’s multidisciplinary collaboration frequently involves dance and film. \nIn upcoming seasons\, Konstantin will appear at NYC’s Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall with Rachmaninoff’s 4th Piano Concerto with Pegasus: The Orchestra\, and will return to Mondavi Arts Center in Sacramento to perform Brahms 2nd Piano Concerto with Auburn Symphony. Konstantin will also premiere a new ballet “Encounters” by Polina Nazaykinskaya for MorDance Company at Hunter College’s Kaye Playhouse. Konstantin and Polina’s collaboration is now featured on OClassica.com labels’ releases of three singles on iTunes and other digital platforms: Remembrance\, Anticipation\, and A Summer Rain. \nAs a composer\, Konstantin’s solo violin work “Postcard from The Edge” is featured on 2 different CDs of renowned violinist Elmira Darvarova. He is also composing for film and voice. As a librettist\, Konstantin is currently completing a libretto for a new opera commissioned by Mississippi Opera to be premiered in 2022/23 season. \nIn the fall semester of 2020\, Konstantin joined the adjunct faculty of his alma mater\, The Juilliard School\, teaching his interpretation enhancement course\, Narrative Musicianship\, based on a Russian acting Method. \nKonstantin is a recipient of over 16 awards and is an alumnus of The Juilliard School where he has earned his BM\, MM\, and AD degrees under the tutelage of Jerome Lowenthal. SUMMARY:Field of Dreams Holiday Walking Tour and Seasonal Refreshments
DESCRIPTION:Kick off the holidays with a socially distanced docent led walking tour through the Field of Dreams and meet the 2020 Parrish Road Show artist Scott Bluedorn\, who will be onsite to give tours of his work. Space is limited\, advance registration required. Masks are required to be worn throughout the tour.\nREGISTER \nDocents will guide guests through the inaugural sculpture exhibition that features a new installation created for the Museum by interdisciplinary artist Theaster Gates\, a suite of four new sculptures by Jaume Plensa\, and new works by Parrish collection artist Jim Dine. In addition\, participants will get the opportunity to meet and chat with Scott Bluedorn\, who created the Bonac Blind\, a floating\, mostly handmade dwelling constructed from a repurposed duck blind structure that is now on view in the Entry Meadow. Afterwards\, guests are invited to enjoy some good cheer on the covered terrace with festive treats including hot cider\, mulled wine\, and holiday cookies. This event is rain or shine. \nAdvance ticket purchase with pre-event registration is required.\nAll tickets are sold pre-event and online only. No sales at the door. All sales are final\, non-transferable\, and non-refundable.\nYou must wear a mask throughout the entire program.\nRestrooms will be open during the event. Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available.
