DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n  \nReady to learn more about social media and how it can work for you? Business Council Members and local business owners are invited to join us to share stories and ask questions about defining and executing a small business social media strategy. This event will circle back to the themes and strategies introduced on October 21 by local business owners and provide a comfortable and informal forum for sharing your own successes and challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in conversations around one or more focus areas including: defining your audience\, creating a distinct voice and brand presence\, exploring various content areas\, and the mechanics of social media such as timing and frequency. \nThe event will kick off with a short presentation by communications expert\, Stacey Cohen\, President & CEO\, Co-Communications.\n \n \nABOUT STACEY COHEN \nStacey is an award-winning marketing professional who earned her stripes on Madison Avenue and at major networks before launching her own agency.  She is Founder and CEO of Co-Communications\, a full-service PR and marketing firm with offices in New York and Connecticut. Stacey specializes in finding\, cultivating and perfecting brands. Under her leadership\, Co-Communications has been awarded the Advertising Club’s “Best of Show” three times. Stacey has been recognized as City & State NY/Power 100 and named PRSA Practitioner of the Year in recognition of her professional achievements\, experience\, and reputation in the profession. DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nJoin a special gallery tour led by Alicia Longwell\, Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Chief Curator\, Art and Education\, of three recently opened solo exhibitions by East End artists peter campus (American\, b. 1937)\, Virginia Jaramillo (American\, b. 1939)\, and John Torreano (American\, b.1941). The exhibitions\, organized by Longwell\,  feature predominantly new\, never-before-seen work by artists in the seventh decade of their careers and at the top of their creative powers. \n  \nVirginia Jaramillo: The Harmony between Line and Space presents five newly created paintings by the pioneering minimalist who has practiced for more than six decades. Two paintings represent the artist’s visualization of communication between quantum particles across the vastness of space. John Torreano: Painting Outer Space/Inner Space\, 1989 to Present\, features 10 large-scale paintings on plywood panels\, studded with gems and wood balls. The artist reflects on the mysteries and wonders of the cosmos in these works\, which were inspired by images transmitted by the Hubble Space Telescope. when the hurly burly’s done features nine videographs by new media and video artist peter campus\, captured at sites around the shores of Shinnecock Bay. These continuous video loops—presented on separate screens—invite the viewer to experience the sublime beauty of the natural and the ordinary. \n  \nSpace is limited. Advance ticket purchase with pre-event registration is required. All tickets are sold pre-event and online only. No sales at the door. Experience the space where Jaramillo created the never-before-seen paintings and drawings for the exhibition The Harmony between Line and Space\, on view at the Museum November 7\, 2021 through February 27\, 2022.
