Limited spaces will be available at the door. \nBooks will be available for purchase in the Michéle & Steven Pesner Book and Gift Shop. \n \nAbout the Publication\nPublished by El Museo del Barrio and KMEC Books\, Tony Bechara is a comprehensive look into the New York-based artist’s life and meticulous painting method with an introduction by Patrick Charpenel\, in-depth essay by Domitille d’Orgeval\, thorough interview with Hans Ulrich Obrist\, biography compiled by Patricia Newcomer\, and epilogue by Désirée von la Valette. \nAbout Phong Bui\nPhong H. Bui is an artist\, writer\, independent curator\, and co-founder\, Publisher & Artistic Director of the Brooklyn Rail\, Rail Editions\, River Rail and Rail Curatorial Projects. Bui has organized nearly one hundred exhibitions since 2000\, and is a Board Member of International Association of Art Critics (2007-2019)\, Anthology Film Archives (2017-2023)\, Fountain House\, Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation\, Monira Foundation\, Second Shift Studio Space St. Paul\, Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program\, Studio in a School\, the Third Rail\, the Center for Fiction\, the Lynn Art Foundation\, among numerous advisory boards and committees.
