DESCRIPTION:The Parrish’s annual student exhibition is a 65-year tradition and a highlight of every year. Join Parrish Education Director Cara Conklin-Wingfield and participating educators to discuss the adjustments and challenges of teaching during the 2020-21 school year. The program will begin with a video tour of the 2021 Student Exhibition followed by a live conversation with regional art teachers and chat with the audience. DESCRIPTION:Topic: Mixed Media \nJoin artist Madolin Archer for this Creative Studio for Families. We will create works of art inspired by the materials themselves and Museum’s permanent collection artists\, Lynda Benglis\, Betty Parsons\, and Mel Kendrick. \nWorkshops will be held in the Lichtenstein Theater to allow for ample social distancing. Each household will have their own workspace and materials. This month we will be creating Mixed Media works of art from wood\, modeling clay and paints.
