DESCRIPTION:REGISTER  \nOffered on the following Thursdays: February 27\, March 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\, and April 3 \nCost: $135 \nArt educator Wendy Gottlieb guides students in Grades 1-5 to create pottery and study the history of ceramics. Hand-built pottery techniques will include coil\, slab\, and sculpture. All work will be fired. Enrollment is limited. \nFamily Pass Members get priority registration. Family Pass Member priority registration is open now. Registration for all opens on January 2nd. Space is limited\, and classes fill quickly. For Membership assistance email membership@parrishart.org or call 631-283-2118. \nThe Museum reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to insufficient enrollment. DESCRIPTION:Children of all ages are invited to celebrate the closing of Charlotte Park: The Life of Forms in Colors in this pop-up workshop with Linda White\, founder of the Imagination Play Project. Participants will use tape and paper to create their masterpieces. The Imagination Play Project creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to engage\, design\, and connect with open-ended materials and play. \nDrop-in sessions are limited to 30 minutes per family. Entry to the Galleries requires Museum admission ticket purchase. \nAbout Linda White & The Imagination Play Project\nAs a play curator\, Linda White’s focus began with young children and has grown to working with people of all ages and abilities. Drawing inspiration from the schools in Reggio Emilia\, Italy\, and the rich aesthetic landscape of NYC\, she creates experiences using a variety of objects that encourage exploration\, engage the senses\, and inspire creativity. Learn more →
