DESCRIPTION:Five-Week Workshop\nFridays\, April 8\, 15\, 22\, 29\, May 6 from 10:30 AM–1 PM\n  \nREGISTER\n\n  \nMember | $230\n\nNon-Member |  $330 \n  \n\n\nIn this workshop\, students will work in creative ways to use color\, form\, texture\, pattern\, and materials. Students will draw\, paint\, collage\, and experiment with new ways to make work. We’ll use the elements of nature\, look at works in the galleries\, as well as other masterworks to inspire us to try new directions. \nOpen to students 15 and up\, experienced or beginner. \nStudents will be given a supply list and will use some supplies from the museum. \n  \n\n\nThis indoor event requires all attendees to wear medical-grade masks at all times and show proof of vaccination; those 18 and older must provide a valid ID. To help us expedite the check-in process\, we encourage all guests to send their proof in advance by emailing it to healthfirst@parrishart.org. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER \n$5 Children & Members | $10 Adult Non-Members \nInspired by Pop Art\, this month we will focus on using materials to de-construct and appropriate images in your own creation with techniques to include drawing\, painting\, and collage. \nWorkshops will be held in the Lichtenstein Theater. Each household will have their own workspace and materials. Materials will be provided. \nAdvance ticket purchase with pre-registration is required. Enrollment is limited. In this class open to all levels\, various monotype techniques will be explored to produce unique one-of-a-kind prints. A great introduction or refresher to the printmaking process. \nAndrea Cote is an interdisciplinary artist and printmaker. She has been creating professionally and teaching for over 25 years. She has presented her work in North and South America at venues including Guild Hall\, Southampton Arts Center\, Islip Art Museum\, Delaware Art Museum\, Abrons Arts Center\, The Print Center\, The Moore Gallery\, and PanAmerican Art Projects. As a teaching artist\, she aims to inspire students to develop their own voice through experimentation while providing a foundation of technique and artistic vocabulary. She aims to make printmaking accessible to everyone\, at all levels\, on the East End. \n\n\n  \nProof of vaccine is required for attendees ages 5 and older for all events and programs at the Lichtenstein Theater\, café\, & Studio; those age 18 and older must also provide a valid ID.
