Incising the wax\, collage\, and transfers will also be sampled. In addition\, this class will discuss the necessary tools\, methods\, and safe handling of hot wax painting. Through demonstrations\, discussions\, and exploration\, students will develop a basic knowledge of encaustic\, which is simultaneously frustrating and satisfying to learn.
