SUMMARY:Painting Techniques
DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, May 7\, 14\, 21\, & 28\, 10:30 am to 1:00 pm each day  \nIn this workshop teaching artist Barbara Thomas will concentrate on how to use your materials. She will focus on techniques that answer\, how to mix the paint\, what brushes to use for paint strokes\, how to “lay in” a painting\, and how to create painting effects\, to name a few. \nThis workshop uses watercolor gouache paint but the principals of painting apply to any medium. Students are required to provide their own materials. \nEnrollment is limited. Workshops will be held in the Lichtenstein Theater to provide ample room for social distancing.
