SUMMARY:Artists Choose Artists 2019
DESCRIPTION:Artists Choose Artists is the Parrish Art Museum’s triennial exhibition that highlights the dynamic relationships among the multi-generational artist community of Long Island’s East End. Artists Choose Artists is designed to catalyze creative networks and encourage mentorship and conversations between artists at varying stages in their careers. \n\n\n\nSeven notable artists of the region will jury the exhibition. Each juror selects two artists based on submissions and subsequent studio visits. The exhibition will comprise the work of the seven jurors and the fourteen artists and may include painting\, sculpture\, photography\, prints\, and mixed media.

SUMMARY:Winter Vacation Art Workshop: Holiday Still Life
DESCRIPTION:For children age 6 and older \nCelebrate winter break at the Parrish with creative workshops and visual arts. In this workshop\, children will create holiday still life drawings. Each class will begin with a gallery tour. \nSpace is limited and advance registration and payment are required. \nREGISTER  \n\nA cancellation up to 7 days prior to the first day of Winter Vacation Workshops will guarantee a 100% refund. No refunds will be given after that time. The Parrish is not responsible for providing refunds for classes missed as a result of student illness\, student emergencies or events beyond our control. The Museum reserves the right to cancel any class which does not meet minimum enrollment requirements
