SUMMARY:Every Picture Tells a Story: Work from the Permanent Collection
DESCRIPTION:November 11\, 2018 to October 6\, 2019 \nEach year\, the Museum creates a new exhibition that contextualizes work and amplifies inherent themes by important artists in the Parrish collection of more than 3\,000 works. This year’s seven-gallery installation\, Every Picture Tells a Story\, presents a series of focused exhibitions that explore the many ways that images carry narrative meaning. \nEvery Picture Tells a Story\, the 2018 Permanent Collection Exhibition\, has been made possible\, in part\, by the generous support of Barbara Slifka; Ellen Cantrowitz\, Garrett and Mary Moran; Charlotte Moss and Barry Friedberg\, Jane and David Walentas\, Marie Samuels\, Per Skarstedt\, Deborah Buck\, and a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.

DESCRIPTION:Our work environments impact our productivity\, prosperity\, and feelings of fulfillment.  Learn how the 5\,000-year-old Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui can be applied to your living spaces\, at work and at home\, in this interactive presentation. \nJoin Parrish Business Members as guest speaker Eugenia Au Kim of InteriorsOTH and the Parrish Business Council\, leads an informal and fun interactive workshop\, followed by networking and gallery exploration. This workshop has something for every kind of work space: retail\, restaurant\, hospitality\, administrative offices\, and more. \nEugenia Au Kim\, IIDA\, along with partner Eli Horen\, manage InteriorsOTH\, a unique design business in the Hamptons that relies on their collective backgrounds in engineering\, art\, interior design\, and business entrepreneurship.  Their prestigious space planning and interior design firm serves clients from all over the world\, including commercial projects for Bridgehampton National Bank\, Lizan Tops Gallery\, The Sway Club\, as well as restaurant and many commercial offices (up to 10\,000 square feet) for attorneys\, film editors\, fashion industries\, and start-up corporations in New York City\, New Jersey\, and Connecticut.  InteriorsOTH has participated in 12 showhouses to help raise money for Southampton Hospital\, Hospice and Holiday House.  Formerly owned and operated a Bridgehampton retail venue for curated home furnishings from such places as Vietnam\, Indonesia\, Thailand and Latin Americas and USA.
