FISHERMAN, Ecuador 2012

Sebastian Cordero, 96 min.

Pescador tells the story of Blaquito, a thirty year-old man who lives with his mother in a small Ecuadorian fishing village where he has long felt like a persona non grata. When he discovers a box filled with bricks of cocaine that has washed up on the beach, Blanquito is presented with the opportunity to fulfill his dream of starting a new life away from the village in Guayaquil, enabled by the sale of the cocaine for top prices. He meets and develops a romantic interest in a woman named Lorna, who joins him on what becomes a dramatic and dangerous adventure.

PESCADOR, Ecuador 2012
