Jazz en Plein Air featuring Richie Siegler's Quartet

Richie Siegler, the founding director of Escola de Samba BOOM (a 50-member percussion group), and organizer of the wildly-popular summer drumming workshops at Sagg Main Beach, reprises his renowned beats at the Parrish Art Museum as part of the Jazz en Plein Air series. The Richie Siegler Quartet has its roots in standard jazz with Latin/Brazilian influences. Siegler, who also curates the Jazz en Plein Air series, is a native of Greenwich Village, New York, where he grew up playing drums, swing, modern bebop and Latin jazz. Guest musicians to be announced.

The Golden Pear Café at the Parrish will be serving special food and drinks including a buffet of BBQ Chicken, Roasted Salmon, and Slow Roasted Pork, with Corn Bread, Coleslaw, and a Brownie for $25, in addition to many selections from the bar such as Parrish Summer Sangria for $10 and Montauk Driftwood Ale for $5. So come socialize, soak in the scenery, and have bite to eat and a glass of wine, to the sounds of the many talented musicians.

Seating on the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace is limited. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music from the terrace and the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Foundation Event Lawn.
