Atlantic Vibrations: Surf Movie Night, Vol. 3

Courtesy James Katsipis

The third installment of Atlantic Vibrations: Surf Movie Night, an outdoor screening of short, noncommercial surf movies made by filmmakers from New York State. Created as a platform for emerging and established filmmakers, Atlantic Vibrations acknowledges the timeless connection between art, film, and surfing.  The evening will begin with DJ TWILO spinning at 7 pm and then the screening at sunset. Food and beverage will be available for purchase through the Golden Pear Cafe at the Parrish.

Filmmakers chosen for this year’s screening include Bartholomew Schwarz (This is the End), Ingrid Silva (Surf Journal, Day 17256), Jerstin Crosby (MM Moon Beach), Ben Potter (Drink One), James Katsipis (Travel Ban), Sean Martin (Artisanal Lifestyle: Mikey DeTemple), Calvin Knowlton (Top Gun), Nate Best (Irene), Bruce AG Bailey (Sun Sessions, Morocco), Brendan Regan (1240 11976), and Jsun Laliberte (Exercise in Futility).

The screening will take place on the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Foundation Event Lawn. In the event of rain, this screening will take place on the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace. Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.

Friday Nights are made possible, in part, by the generous support of The Corcoran Group and Bridgehampton National Bank. Hamptons Magazine is the media sponsor of Friday Nights.
