Join us in the Lichtenstein Theater for a lunch hour illustrated talk, with lunch specials offered from the Golden Pear Café at the Parrish.

Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Chief Curator Alicia Longwell will discuss the works of William Merritt Chase and the Dr. Longwell's forthcoming publication William Merritt Chase: A Life in Art (GILES, October 2014).

William Merritt Chase: A Life in Art represents an invaluable addition to our understanding of Chase’s paintings, drawings, and working methods. Two essays explore his life as an artist and teacher, as well as a European education that led to the plein-air landscapes of the Shinnecock Hills. The catalogue features over thirty of the Parrish’s most important artworks.
