The Parrish Art Museum will honor 25 young artists for their outstanding work that is on view in the 2015 Student Exhibition (on view through March 1, 2015). Selected from more than 150 high school student participants by Neill Slaughter, a professor of Visual Art at Long Island University, C.W. Post campus, these up-and-coming artists will be celebrated at the Museum, where Parrish Director Terrie Sultan and Slaughter will present Awards of Excellence to 19 Seniors, and “Ones to Watch” Awards to 6 underclassmen. The ceremony begins with opening remarks by Sultan and Slaughter and Parrish Education Director Cara Conklin-Wingfield will announce the names of the winners.

Refreshments will be served at the event, which is open to the public.
