FAMILY PERFORMANCE featuring Edge School of the Arts

July 24, 2019, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

REGISTER

Edge School of the Arts brings their award-winning children’s dance ensemble to the Parrish! The young dancers of the Edge School of the Arts (ESOTA) located in Jamaica, Queens will take families on a music and dance journey. Dancing is easy, great exercise, and just plain fun. Combining that with music is a simple way to introduce children to different cultures. From classical ballet, jazz, and African drums to American tap and hip hop songs and dance, the young audience will observe and engage in dance and music activities with opportunities to play tambourines, shekeres, djembe drums, and more.

Free with Museum Admission.

The Museum’s educational programming is supported, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and by property taxpayers from the Southampton School District and Tuckahoe Common School District.
Each performance is also given to Southampton Youth Association summer program attendees at Southampton Elementary School.
