Open Studio Sessions - Saturdays, April 7, May 5, June 2, 1–3pm

In these free monthly studio sessions, explore a variety of media with guidance from painter Eric Dever and inspiration from the Parrish collection.

April 7: Mixed Media, including paint tar, plaster, and 3D objects

May 5: Acrylic Paint such as glazes, impasto, imprinting, and photo transfer

June 2: Paint & Collage

Landscape Painting - Thursdays, April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10am–12:30pm

Learn the principles of landscape painting with guidance from painter Barbara Thomas, in preparation for summer painting en plein air. Study proportions, perspective, and composition by examining works in the Museum, and learn to use materials to create clouds, grass, trees, and their properties.

A supply list will be provided at registration.

Life Drawing - Mondays, 11am–1pm

Practice drawing male and female models through gesture sketches and longer duration observation in this five-session series facilitated by teaching artist Linda Capello.

For adults (age 15+). All skill levels welcome.

Sculpting Nature - Saturdays, June 9, 16, 23, 2–4:30pm

Create your own personal heirloom, a porcelain vase, while learning ceramic production techniques. Ceramicist Mary O’Malley teaches basic to intermediate slip casting and mold-making techniques. All skill levels welcome. Materials will be provided;a $35 materials fee is payable upon registration.
