Tour of the new Whitney Museum of American Art

The stunning new Whitney Museum of American Art, designed by architect Renzo Piano, features nearly 50,000 square feet of indoor galleries, 13,000 square feet of outdoor exhibition space, and expansive terraces facing the High Line.

Parrish Art Museum Members at the $500 Contributor level and above are invited to join us for a tour of the Whitney's permanent collection galleries. Founded in 1930 by Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, the Museum now holds over 21,000 works created by more than 3,000 artists in the United States during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries with 600 from the founder's own collection.
