"Architectural Sessions: Haunting Houses" Call for Architects

Deadline to submit: October 19, 2015

Architectural Sessions, the ongoing conversation series presented by AIA Peconic and the Parrish, seeks architects to participate in the Friday, October 30th session entitled “Haunting Houses”.

Architects are asked to discuss a specific influence that has “haunted” their practice and exerted a unique influence over a particular project or in their general practice. They will then discuss how this influence was eventually expressed in a built or unbuilt project. This “haunting” influence need not be confined to the built realm; it could be a film, work of art, image or event. Up to five architects will be chosen to participate in the evening’s conversation.

Presenters may be licensed or non-licensed; AIA Peconic membership is not required. To submit please email at least (1) “haunted” image and (1) image of the resultant product, with explanatory captions under each to programs@parrishart.org through October 19th. Email subject line should read "Haunted Houses Submission".
